Federation
The National Federation of Gold Jewellery – Silverware – Jewellery Manufacturers is a voluntary association of goldsmith, silversmith and jewelry companies, the highest expression of Made in Italy.
The industry interprets an age-old tradition and blends sensitivity to style, aesthetics, and beauty with the ability to transform the material into pieces of the highest quality crafting 70% of the gold used in Italy. It is design knowledge and the ability to apply it to products and processes that allows excellence to be achieved.
There are more than 500 companies with over 7,000 employees that are members of the Federation and represent brilliant, widespread, dynamic entrepreneurship, active throughout the territory and with the competitive advantage of concentration in large industrial districts: Arezzo, Milan, Naples/Torre del Greco, Valenza and Vicenza.
System-areas are a powerful resource for providing the key elements and skills needed, contributing to the flexibility of the industry that can best adapt to the ever-changing needs of markets.
The Federal Bodies
Federorafi is composed of institutional bodies, such as the Members' Assembly, the General Council, the Chair and the President.
The General Council and the President oversee the pursuit of the associations purposes, operating with respect for the members. The Secretariat coordinates and implements the programs and initiatives resolved in the assemblies, also making use of external collaborations. The activities of the federation are regulated by the Statute, which defines the purposes of Federorafi, the characteristics of the members, and the internal bodies.
